Here's good news for gamers! The popular Mafia series is getting a mobile avatar -- Mafia III: Rivals. 2K Games and Cat Daddy have announced that the game will be coming to both iOS and Android devices on October 7.


Users can pre-register for the game on for in-game bonuses, which they can use once the game goes live. Though the mobile game is most likely to be free to play, it may include in-app purchases.


Labeled as the RPG title, this game will involve users to recruit and train 40 crime bosses from the Mafia III.


Earlier this year, it was announced that the Mafia III will be launched for PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is also expected to get a reimagined version of New Orleans dating back to 1968. The storyline follows the protagonist's quest for vengeance for the murder of his surrogate family.


The game publisher 2K Games said that they will be releasing a Mafia III Season Pass which will feature exclusive additional in-game content. The Season Pass will come bundled with the Deluxe Edition of the game and would retail at $80.


There will also be a Mafia III Collector's edition which is priced at $150 and would include, "the original game score on vinyl, a collectable art book, art prints and more."


 There's an additional 'Family Kick-Back' digital content for those pre-ordering the game and will add three exclusive vehicles and weapons to the game.


The game revolves around the story of Lincoln Clay, an orphan and a Vietnam War veteran, who is on a quest to build a new crime organization to take on Italian mob. The action adventure game is set in 1968 New Bordeaux. Source:-
